The Egyptian Foreign Minister announced Monday morning that Egyptian President Mubarak invited PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and Interim Prime Minister Ehud Olmert for talks in Cairo. He noted that it was too early to expect an agreement between the two parties, since the Palestinian side had numerous internal issues to sort out before such a step could be taken. Olmert's office said that talks with the PA were not on the table at present time.
