Egypt sends 14 tons of food, medicine to Lebanon

An Egyptian airplane, transporting 14 tons of food and medical supplies, landed in Lebanon on Friday. Meanwhile, UN envoy Ian Egeland called for a 72-hour truce for humanitarian purposes in order to evacuate women, children and elderly and supply humanitarian aid to the Lebanese.
