Fatah officials demanded on Saturday that Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas disband the Hamas-led PA government and call for new elections. The suggestion came after an explosion earlier in the day wounded intelligence officer Gen. Tareq Abu Rajeb, killed one of his bodyguards and wounded nine others. The officials also called upon Abbas to disband Hamas' new security force, Israel Radio reported.
