Fatah faction leader Azzam al-Ahmad said on Wednesday that his party would be willing, in principle, to join the Hamas in a national union government, provided the two could reach an agreed-upon diplomatic platform. Following coalition talks with Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar in Gaza, al-Ahmad said the two sides would reconvene to iron out any disagreements, Israel Radio reported.
