Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh told PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas Friday afternoon to take back his decision to hold a referendum on accepting the "prisoners' document" that implicitly recognizes Israel. Holding a referendum is "a historic mistake that will divide the Palestinian people and has no legal basis," said Haniyeh. Abbas is expected to announce the referendum on Saturday night.
