Haniyeh kicks off round of visits to Gulf states

Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh on Thursday left the Gaza Strip to resume a trip to Gulf states that had been cut short by the violence, which has since subsided. He was headed first to Saudi Arabia, then to Kuwait, Qatar and Jordan, where he and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas have been invited for talks by King Abdullah II.
