In an announcement to the press on Wednesday, King Abdullah of Jordan said, "He who thinks that the Palestinian problem can be solved at Jordan's expense is wrong. Jordan can never serve as a replacement for the homeland of any foreign people; the homeland of the Palestinians must be established on Palestinian Authority territory, and nowhere else." The comments came a day before PM Olmert's visit to Jordan on Thursday.
