PA declares emergency after bird flu outbreak

Palestinian Authority officials declared a state of emergency Tuesday in response to the outbreak of bird flu in Israel. In a meeting in Ramallah, PA officials discussed ways to prevent the spread of the disease in Gaza and the West Bank, Israel Radio reported.
