Palestinian operatives detonate land mine in southern Gaza; none hurt

Palestinian operatives on Thursday detonated a land mine during a training exercise in the southern Gaza Strip, setting off a loud explosion, witnesses said. The witnesses said no one was hurt during the incident in the town of Rafah, near the Egyptian border. The IDF had no immediate comment.
