Hamas spokesman Ghazi Hamad said overnight Monday that Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh had decided to accept the invitation of Jordan's King Abdullah II to meet with PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas in Amman in hopes of finding a solution to the escalating violence between the Hamas and Fatah factions. Another Palestinian source said that the meeting could take place by the end of the week, Israel Radio reported.
