Some 70% of Palestinians support Abbas

Close to 70 percent of the Palestinian population supports Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas, a January 18 poll conducted by Dr. Nabil Kukali of the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion revealed. According to the poll, 23.6% of those asked said they "strongly" supported Abbas. 44.8% said they "somewhat" support him. Close to 18% said they "somewhat don't support" Abbas, while 13.1% said they "strongly don't support" him.
