Turkish troops kill 30 rebels near Iraq border

Turkish troops have killed 30 Kurdish rebels who were preparing to attack a military unit near the border with Iraq, the military said Thursday. The clashes took place on Thursday, the military said in a statement. The report increases the number of rebels killed since Sunday to at least 64, according to military figures.
