Dentist held for ‘sexual assault under anesthesia’

The dentist is suspected of “touching the girl inappropriately” after administrating dental drugs that dazed her.

A 63-year-old dentist was arrested on Wednesday in the north on suspicion of performing “indecent acts” on a 13-year-old female patient who was under his care, police said.
The dentist, a resident of Haifa, is suspected of “touching the girl inappropriately” after administrating dental drugs that dazed her, a police spokesman told The Jerusalem Post.
The girl’s parents filed a complaint at the Zevulun police station two weeks ago, leading to an investigation.
The suspect, who owns two dental clinics, one in Haifa and another in Kiryat Motzkin, was arrested. He told police during questioning that he did not commit any of the acts attributed to him.
Police said subsequent searches of his clinics revealed pedophilic and pornographic images, as well as sex toys hidden in a cupboard.
Investigators are now trying to determine whether there were additional victims.
