16-year-olds admit to spraying graffiti reading "Death to Jews" on four synagogues, a car in Safed; remand hearing expected at Nazareth court.

Two sixteen year-olds were arrested on Wednesday on suspicion that they sprayed graffiti reading "Death to Jews" on four synagogues and a car in Safed Wednesday morning.
During an investigation, they admitted to spraying the graffiti and claimed they did it response to the torching of a mosque in the village of Tuba Zanghariya last week.

The two suspects will brought to a remand hearing at the Nazareth Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
There has been increased tension in the North since a mosque was set alight in the village of Tuba Zangaria near Rosh Pina last week in an apparent "Price Tag" attack.
Residents of the village said that the words "Price Tag" and "Revenge" were sprayed in the area.
Police opened an investigation into the incident.
The attack came amid a recent wave of similar attacks in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch responded last week with outrage to the incident, calling it a "criminal and despicable attack on a holy place."
