The accident occurred near Kibbutz Grofit, en route to Eilat.
The family's one-and-a-half year old baby girl was still fighting for her life at the hospital.
Eight additional people were injured in the fatal accident, with one seriously injured and the others lightly wounded. They were being treated by an MDA team at the scene.
The Arava road was blocked in both directions due to the accident, and police asked drivers to take Route 12, the alternative road to Eilat.
