Lower Galilee: Police investigate 2 shootings

Palestinian illegally residing in Israel says he was shot by 2 masked men; gun shots fired at 2 stores from moving vehicle in Nazareth.

A thirty-year-old Palestinian illegally residing in Israel was brought to the hospital in Tiberias on Friday morning, lightly injured with gun shot wounds in his arm.
He said that he was shot by two masked men who then fled the scene, near the village on Tur'an in the Lower Galilee. The cause of the incident was unclear.
Police opened an inquiry into the incident.
In a separate incident, gun shots were fired from a moving vehicle at two stores overnight Thursday in Nazareth's Safafra neighborhood.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Police arrested one suspect in connection with the shooting. The suspect was scheduled to be brought to court for a remand extension on Saturday evening.
