3 killed in car accident on J'lem-Tel Aviv Highway

Amid heavy storm conditions, driver loses control of vehicle, hitting safety rail; MDA paramedics treat seriously injured survivor.

Three people were killed and one was seriously injured in a car accident on the Tel Aviv-Jerusalem Highway, between Shoresh and Sha'ar Hagai in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
An initial investigation into the accident found that the driver likely lost control of the vehicle, hitting a safety railing and caroming into a car parked on the side of the highway.
MDA paramedics called to the scene pronounced the three men dead on the scene and transported the injured man to Hadassah University Medical Center at Ein Kerem.
The accident came amid heavy storm conditions.
Israeli media reported that the young men in the vehicle, ages 25-30, were returning from Orthodox Christmas celebrations in Bethlehem to Jaffa.
