Yesh Atid MK: 'Michelle Obama, Bring Back Our Boys'

MK Lavie asks FLOTUS to advocate for the return of kidnapped yeshiva boys.

US first lady Michelle Obama was asked to help bring back the three kidnapped yeshiva boys Tuesday, a month after she recorded a video advocating for the return of 300 girls from a school in Nigeria by Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram.
Knesset Committee for the Advancement of the Status of Women chairwoman Aliza Lavie (Yesh Atid) wrote Obama a letter appealing to her “as one mother to another, as a woman to a woman.”
“Our three boys, teenagers aged 16 and 19, were abducted in a terrorist attack,” Lavie wrote.
“Please help us recover our boys. I entreat you and all mothers around the world to join our call for the release of the boys, before the situation escalates.
“These are not soldiers, these are children. The place for children is at home,” Lavie continued.
The Yesh Atid MK concluded her letter: “We pray for their return and I implore you to do all that is in your power to bring our precious boys back home.”
Last month, when the Nigerian girls were kidnapped by Boko Haram, Obama recorded a video calling for their return and held up a sign that read “#BringBackOur- Girls,” the hashtag supporting the campaign to release the girls.
This week, the #Bring- BackOurBoys campaign swept Israel and its friends around the world in an attempt to rally support for the release of Naftali Fraenkel, Eyal Yifrah and Gil-Ad Shaer – the three teenagers who were abducted at a hitchhiking spot in Gush Etzion on Thursday night.
