A very busy week for Ga’ash Golf

The “A” division was won by Richard Fogelson with 21 Stableford points, with the second place going to Meir Dor.

The Ga’ash Golf Club hosted a charity event for the Oncology Department at the Tel Hashomer hospital on Tuesday, with a full field of 68 golfers playing a nine-hole individual Stableford tournament.
Players 0 – 18 handicap were placed the “A” division, and 19 to 36 handicaps competed in the “B” division.
The “A” division was won by Richard Fogelson with 21 Stableford points, with the second place going to Meir Dor. The “B” division was won by Aaharon Bakshi with 21 Stableford points, followed by Aryeh Merdler.
Nearest-to-the-pin prizes went to Petra Bogoslavsky and Yossi Merdler.
Each player was treated to a sleeve of Titleist balls and water donated by Evian.
At the cocktail party and awards ceremony held at the Greenfield restaurant, Hanukka candles were lit by Dr. Zvi Simon, the head of the Oncology Department.
The tournament organizers, Rachel Weitzman and Aliza Ophir, thanked Gili Peleg, CEO of Ga’ash Golf Club for hosting this important charity day.
In other Ga’ash news, 60 players took part on Monday in the November monthly medal, with Dor taking home top spot with the best score – 77 gross – of his short golfing career.
In second place was Ilan Mendelson on net 68, while the B division was won by Dani Seker on net 70 followed by Eli Gitlin on net 71.
Dani Levin took the C division with a net 65, followed by Nathan Bogoslavsky on net 69.
