This weekend, March Madness reaches its climax in the Red and Dr. Murray's Israel Basketball League with the Final Four. Friday's semifinal games at the Blind Center begin at 10 a.m., as Lev Dawgs face The David Project/Chickie's, followed at 11 by Chabad Heights vs Lobos. The championship game, with the Red Auerbach Championship Trophy at stake, tips off Saturday night at 9:45, at Chavat Hano'ar. On the under-card is the Tier II "All Star Israel Sports Camp Trophy" championship game, at 8:30. Chabad Heights 61, Burgers Bar Mevaseret 53 Burgers Bar surged to a big first half lead, but Chabad Heights came roaring back in the second half, ensuring a showdown with Lobos, who defeated Rain 77-54. Yesod 42, Charizards 39 Yesod, the heavy favorites, ran into a surprisingly strong Charizards, who gave them a serious run for their money before falling in the Sweet-16. In the Tier II "All Star Israel Sports Camp Trophy" semifinals, the Trumanaires defeated ZAJ 55-37, while Buffalo edged Lake Como Pizza 58-52.
