Israeli tennis troika to represent country at Australian Open

Dudi Sela, Shahar Pe'er, and Julia Glushko are set to take the court on Monday for the first round of the Grand Slam tourney.

Israel’s three representatives in the singles draws of the Australian Open will all be in action Monday as the tournament opens.
Dudi Sela – ranked 68th – faced Jarko Nieminen (39) in the first round of the men’s singles early Monday morning.
Shahar Pe’er – 77th in the world – will play former doubles partner Monica Niculescu (60) while Julia Glushko – No. 89 – will come up against Lucie Safarova (27).

Meanwhile, Andy Ram and Yoni Erlich were drawn on Sunday to play Daniele Bracciali and Alexandr Dolgopolov in the first round of the doubles tournament.
