On Friday at the Wingate Institute (College Building), the first annual World of American Football in Israel conference will take place.With flag football debuting in Israel over 20 years ago and the Kraft Family IFL tackle league now five years old – not to mention the booming new high school tackle program – plenty is happening on the Israeli pigskin scene. Beginning at 9 a.m. and going until 2 p.m., Friday’s event will feature a number of interactive sessions about the different areas in which the sport of American football is expanding in this country.Admission is free and coffee, cake and a light lunch will be served.
