Ga’ash Golf Club gears up for championships

In extremely warm weather conditions nearly 50 golfers participated in the August Monthly Medal at the Ga’ash Golf Club.

In extremely warm weather conditions nearly 50 golfers participated in the August Monthly Medal at the Ga’ash Golf Club.

The best gross score was a well played three over par 73 strokes by Greg Elliot. Elliot went out in two over par 37 which included one birdie six pars a bogey and one double bogey. On the back nine Elliot had a one over par 36 which included one birdie, six pars and two bogeys.

With the club championships being played over the next two weeks the course is in excellent condition and scoring was of a high standard.

David Pachima won the A division with a net 69 followed by Dudu Tor on net 72.

The best net score of the day was Chen Dagan in the B division on 63 with the runner up Roy Burbidge scoring a net 67.

Ezra Sharabani took the cup in the C division with a net 70 followed by Yossie Roll on 72.

Nearest-to-the-pin prizes sponsored by the Greenfield restaurant at the Ga’ash Golf Club went to Elliot and Colin Lewis.
