Shahar Zubari (second from right) and his fitness coach Shlomo Sachs share a joke after the windsurfer was handed a NIS 50,000 bonus check on Sunday from Olympic Committee of Israel president Zvi Varshaviak (left), one day after claiming his second straight European Championship title in Sopot, Poland. ‘This is the first competition in which I realized that even when everything isn’t going your way good things can happen if you have self belief and work hard,’ said Zubari at OCI headquarters at Hadar Yosef in Tel Aviv. Zubari’s coach Rafa Balilos (right) was rewarded with a NIS 25,000 bonus for his successful work with the the 23-year-old windsurfer, of which 20 percent will go to Sachs.
