Maccabi Tel Aviv extended its lead at the top of the BSL standings on Monday night, thrashing Ironi Ashkelon 88-66 at Nokia Arena. Maccabi improved to 10-1 on the season and has got a three-game lead over Hapoel Jerusalem and Maccabi Ashdod.Doron Perkins (pictured) led Tel Aviv with 18 points, five assists and five steals, with David Blu scoring 17. Desmon Farmer had 17 points for Ashkelon, which has lost four of its last five games.
