Building on the great success of other recent festivals at the Mamilla Mall, the Bikkurim Festival will celebrate Jerusalem Day and the upcoming holidays of Shavuot with white wines, cheeses and other boutique food products across from the Old City Walls and the Tower of David, on Alrov Mamilla Avenue, June 1 and 2.
Lining the Mamilla Mall from 06:00 p.m. onward will be dozens of stalls representing leading Israeli and international makers of white, rosé, and sparkling wines, including Barkan, Carmel, Teperberg 1870, Binyamina, Galil Mountains, Alexander and more.
Complementing the wines will be a huge selection of cheeses and olive oils, with representation from many of the top cheesemakers and olive oil makers in the country, including Eretz Gshur, which won the title of Best Israeli Olive Oil Maker at the recent Terra Olivo competition at the Inbal Hotel. For dessert, visitors will be able to sample fancy chocolates and other sumptuous, bite-sized desserts.
The NIS 59 entry fee includes a professional tasting glass and, of course, unlimited refills.
