Jerusalem Knights in the Old City

Dozens of magicians, musicians, dancers, knights, princesses, troubadours, court jesters, peddlers and dragons take to the streets of the Old City on Thursday evenings during the annual medieval celebration of Jerusalem Knights in the Old City. The activities follow a circular route that begins at Jaffa Gate, continues to Muristan Square and returns to Jaffa Gate.

Every year the Festival focuses on a different related theme and this year is all about knights and dragons. There is something for people of all ages with ancient dances, battles and more as the Knights of the Night defend the Old City from the Knights of Hell and fire-spitting dragons. Artists from Venice will participate in the Festival adding to the authentic and colourful medieval atmosphere.
