The Argentine lake district is usually a picture-perfect destination popular with tourists featuring aqua blue lakes and bright green foliage.
But a volcano that erupted in Chile on June 4 has left the area covered in ash.
With roads barely passable some people have been trapped in their homes, and psychologists have been deployed to help people cope.
The clean-up has started, but is expected to take some time, as residents hope for better times ahead.
