Ben Hartman is a reporter for The Jerusalem Post. Prior to that, he worked as an editor and writer for Haaretz.com for three years. He has a BA in History from the University of Texas at Austin and an MA in Security Studies from Tel Aviv University, where his thesis focused on the proliferation of private military contractors in modern warfare. He moved to Israel in 2003 from Austin, Texas and lives in Tel Aviv.
