Hillary Clinton: I will retire from politics in 2012

US secretary of state says she will not continue in her current role even if Obama re-elected; rules out future run for presidency.
US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton said she will retire from political life in 2012 in a Wednesday interview with CNN.
She explained that even if US President Barack Obama is re-elected, she does not plan to continue in her current role, and does not want to run for election herself.
Clinton makes first post-Mubarak trip to Cairo
Clinton said in the interview that she would not want to be president of the United States, calling her current position the "best job I could ever have."
"This is a moment in history where it is almost hard to catch your breath. There are both the tragedies and disasters that we have seen from Haiti to Japan and there are the extraordinary opportunities and challenges that we see right here in Egypt and in the rest of the region. So I want to be part of helping to represent the United States at this critical moment in time, " said Clinton.
Clinton stated that she enjoyed her time running for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008 but that she had no intention of ever running for president again.
