A Border Police spokesperson said, "Israel Police and Border Police officers operate without distinction of religion, race or gender."
Israel Border Police on Tuesday saved the life of a Palestinian man who fell unconscious in Hebron.

The man in his 20s stopped breathing and lost consciousness in a house near the Cave of the Patriarchs.

A number of Palestinians arrived at a checkpoint near the site, manned by members of the Border Police's Yehuda Brigade. There they asked for help dealing with the gravely ill man.

A team of soldiers and a medic arrived at the scene, assessed the situation and immediately began giving life-saving treatment to the man.

The team returned the man to consciousness and when his condition was stabilized, he was transferred to the Red Crescent for further treatment and monitoring.

A Border Police spokesperson said, "Israel Police and Border Police officers operate without distinction of religion, race or gender."

The man's family members thanked the officers for their actions.
