Two border policemen wounded in Bil'in

Two border policemen were lightly wounded on Friday during a violent protest by some 500 Palestinians, left wing Israelis and foreign activists against the construction of the security barrier in Bil'in.

The protesters threw stones at security forces and attempted to damage the fence using ladders.

  • High Court approves fence extension

    The wounded border policemen received medical treatment at the scene.

    IDF troops and border policemen attempted to disperse the protestors using rubber bullets and stun grenades.

    Several of the protesters crossed the barbed wire erected by the IDF into a cordoned off area where trespassing is forbidden.
