Google announced on Sunday that its popular, personalized iGoogle homepage will now be available in Hebrew.

The homepage, developed by Google's Israel research and development offices in Tel Aviv, will be able to display features such as weather, local headlines, games (including Su-do-ku and backgammon), RSS feeds and educational tools. "We are proud to offer this international product in Hebrew," said Professor Yossi Matias, director of Google's Israel operations. "This is an important product and we hope that it will provide our users with a Web experience that is distinctly Israeli."
