A Kassam rocked fired from the northern Gaza Strip hit a mini-market in central Sderot Sunday afternoon. Fortunately, the rocket did not break through the roof of the building, though five people at the scene suffered shock.
A second rocket slammed into a Sderot home and another hit a cemetery in the western Negev town, damaging a number of gravestones.
Throughout Sunday, seven rockets were fired by Palestinian terrorists into Israel. The remaining four rockets hit open areas in the Sha'ar Hanegev and Sdot Negev regions.
No casualties were reported.
Also Sunday, the IDF was forced to close the Karni border crossing and the Nahal Oz fuel terminal, as vehicles came under Palestinian mortar shell fire whilst attempting to transfer food and fuel to Gazans.
Police said that approximately 50 trucks of supplies were forced to turn back as a result of the barrage.

Meanwhile, Palestinian officials reported Sunday that a Palestinian civilian was killed, and two of his family members wounded when an IDF tank shell hit their house in the southern Gaza Strip.
The IDF said it was checking the report.
Soldiers from the Givati Brigade, Armored Corps, and Engineering Corps penetrated two kilometers into southern Gaza late Saturday night in an operation which aimed to stem Palestinian sniper fire against Israeli farmers across the border. Troops continued to operate inside the Strip throughout the morning, exiting at noon.
The military reported that troops came under small arms fire and mortar shell fire during the operation. Nobody was wounded in the attacks, and no damage was reported.
Earlier in the day, a Palestinian gunman was wounded when he was targeted by the IAF.
According the army, the gunman had been spotted approaching troops operating in the area. A successful air strike was called in moments later, but it was unclear to what extent the man was wounded.
