Kyodo News says three people have been killed in a stabbing spree in downtown Tokyo.
The report said the three were killed in the Sunday attack in Tokyo's popular Akihabara electronics and video game district. At least 17 people were also injured in the rampage.
Police arrested a 25-year-old. Local news reports said he was a self-proclaimed gangster. No motive was known.
