Palestinian terrorists in Gaza continued to attack Israeli civilian areas on Sunday morning, firing four Kassam rockets at the South.
Two of the rockets hit the Eshkol region and two struck the Sdot Negev area. No one was wounded, and no damage was reported.
The attacks came after IAF aircraft bombed a munitions warehouse in northern Gaza and two arms smuggling tunnels in the Philadelphi Corridor on Saturday night. There were no reports of casualties.
The IDF said the air raids had been carried out in response to the recent rocket and mortar fire on the South.
Another Philadelphi tunnel was hit in an IAF strike earlier Saturday in response to a Kassam rocket attack.
The London-based daily Al-Hayat reported Sunday that over the weekend, Hamas officials met with Islamic Jihad commanders in the Gaza Strip and demanded that they clarify why they continued firing rockets into Israel.
According to the report, Islamic Jihad officials said they were interested in restoring calm but could not avoid reacting after Israel liquidated their men. They said their response was measured and that Islamic Jihad was interested in rebuilding the devastated Gaza Strip.
The Jerusalem Post could not confirm the Al-Hayat report.
On Saturday morning, Palestinians claimed that a member of an Islamic Jihad rocket squad had been killed in an IAF air strike near the northern Gaza town of Beit Lahiya.
The man was identified as Mahmoud Fattouh, 25, according to Dr. Moawiya Hassanain, a Gazan health official.
Two Islamic Jihad members were wounded in the strike. Hassanain and Islamic Jihad spokesman Abu Ahmad said the men had been firing rockets at Israel when they were targeted.
There were five rockets launched at Israel from the Gaza Strip over the weekend.
