After complaints from "only a few" customers, clothing company Fox recently took down two billboards along the Ayalon highway in Tel Aviv.

The two posters - one depicting fashion model Bar Refaeli and Israeli Survivor star Noam Tor lying in bed with minimal clothing, and the other showing them kissing - were taken down days after they were put up, after representatives from the haredi community publicly voiced their condemnation of the campaign.
"We are considering calling on the haredi sector to boycott Fox," Rabbi Mordechai Bloi, chairman of the haredi group Guardians of Sanctity and Education, told Israeli web sites last week.
"[Members of our community] have told us that the ads are too severe... We don't tell people what to do in their homes. But at the same time, [Fox] can't poison the environment for us on this large a scale."
On Monday, Fox took down the posters and replaced them with two new ones: one depicting Refaeli and Tor smiling, and one of Refaeli staring into the camera.
And while a great deal of skin was visible in the first set of posters, Refaeli and Tor are now seen wearing winter clothes.
"[Fox] has decided to switch the posters because of a number of complaints that have reached us in the last few days," the company said in a statement.
"Even though there were only a few complaints, the company has decided to take them into consideration, since Fox is a fashion company that serves the general community and all of its sectors."
The signs, which spanned 400 square meters, cost Fox NIS 250,000.
