A tourist from Belarus who was in serious condition after nearly drowning in the Mediterranean Sea off the Netanya coast in the afternoon succumbed to his injuries at the city's Laniado Hospital late on Friday night.
The man's Israeli relative, who was swimming with him, was still missing.
