Two senior Israel Railway officials were arrested on Saturday on suspicion that they were involved in a scheme to steal money from a coworker.
The wife of one of the officials was also arrested.
According to reports, the victim - who worked as a cash collector on the trains as it traveled between stations - was threatened by a man with a knife when he was robbed.
The two officials have denied all charges. Police were expected to request an extension of their remands later in the evening.
