Man indicted for threatening Livnat
A 38-year-old Ramat Gan resident was indicted on Friday at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court for threatening to murder Culture and Sport Minister Limor Livnat (Likud).
According to the indictment, the man e-mailed two death threats to Livnat in October.
Police say that the man admitted to sending the death threats, and explained that he opposed Livnat and her political positions.
The prosecution has asked the court to extend the suspect's remand until the end of the trial.
Livnat is not expected to testify against the suspect.
