National Infrastructures Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer appointed on Wednesday a committee to promote the Negev as priority area for renewable energy sources.
The new body will discuss a series of benefits and incentives for developers of clean energy, as well as the allocation of land for environmentally-friendly power stations.
The committee will be headed by National Infrastructures Ministry director-general Hezi Kugler.
