Haifa police were searching for a man who robbed a 29-year-old taxi driver from Tirat Hacarmel overnight Wednesday.
According to a complaint the driver filed with police, a client attacked him and took NIS900 and a cellular phone. When the driver tried to escape, the robber chased after him, bound his hands and feet, and fled with the taxi.
Police found the stolen taxi in the Dalyat al-Carmel area early on Thursday morning.
