Caribbean Airlines is the national airline of Trinidad and Tobago. The airline is wholly owned by the government of Trinidad and Tobago with its main hub at the Piarco International Airport in Trinidad. The airline began operations on January 1, 2007, replacing its predecessor, BWIA West Indies Airways. Its headquarters are in Piarco, Tunapuna-Piarco Regional Corporation on the island of Trinidad. Caribbean Airlines flies from the Caribbean to the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and South America.
