LONDON — Key supporting roles in the royal wedding of the year — if not the decade — were handed out, with Prince Harry named as his brother's best…
Diana, Princess of Wales, (Diana Frances; née Spencer; 1 July 1961 – 31 August 1997) was the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales. Her sons, Princes William and Harry, are second and third in line to the throne of the United Kingdom and fifteen other Commonwealth Realms. A public figure from the announcement of her engagement to Prince Charles, Diana remained the focus of world-wide media scrutiny before, during and after her marriage. This continued in the years following her death in a car crash and a show public mourning. Contemporary responses to Diana's life and legacy were mixed but popular interest with the Princess endures. The Coroner's Inquest reported its conclusion on 7 April 2008 that Diana and her companion Dodi Fayed were unlawfully killed by the negligent driving of the following vehicles and also the driver Henri Paul of the vehicle in which she was travelling.
