A short video of a woman and her dog suffering during overnight rocket attacks against Israel has gone viral on Israeli social media.Einav Carmi, 25, a resident of Kibbutz Nir Am – just a few kilometers from the Gaza border – took a short video of herself lying in bed with her dog overnight between Monday and Tuesday. In the video, Carmi is visibly crying as a loud boom sounds overhead. She lies in bed inside her home’s reinforced room, clutching her dog.
The 37-second clip has been shared widely on social media in Israel, as well as on every national news broadcast.

“I turned on my camera a second after I heard the red alert siren, in order to show the world what we experience during these terrifying moments,” Carmi told KAN’s Reshet Bet radio Tuesday morning. “I didn’t think it would go viral like this. It’s just one video from a thousand full nights like this.”
