An IDF observation unit on Monday night identified three suspects approaching West Bank highway 60 near Al-Khader outside Bethlehem who were planning an ambush, according to the military.

IDF ground forces were dispatched and one of the suspects was arrested. The other suspects fled the scene.

According to an IDF spokesperson, the group of suspects were preparing Molotov cocktails to be used in an ambush against motorists.

On Tuesday morning, the IDF released footage of the incident involving the would-be Molotov cocktail assailants.
