Emek Refaim street fair postponed

The now-annual event in the German Colony will feature Jerusalemite painters, sculptors, glass-blowers and potters.

The International Cultural and Community Center's "Hit'hadshut" celebration along Jerusalem's Rehov Emek Refaim that was scheduled to take place Tuesday was pushed off to Sunday, November 2, in anticipation of inclement weather. The now-annual event in the German Colony will feature Jerusalemite painters, sculptors, glass-blowers and potters showing off their creations alongside performances by young bands (8 p.m.), Yaheli Sobol (9 p.m.), Marsh Dondurme, Ethnica, Yulki Palki and Bein Hashmashot. The fair will also feature fire jugglers, jam sessions, wine tasting and food stands set up by the street's eateries. Entrance is free.
