Prominent figures from across the Israeli-Palestinian divide were scheduled to gather Monday in Jerusalem's Ambassador Hotel for the launch of Voices from the Center of the World, a collection of interviews with key personalities in the conflict. Vice premier Shimon Peres and rock artist David Broza will join Palestinian National Authority representative Dr. Nabil Shaath for the celebration of the new book, which was written by Spanish TV news and print correspondent Henrique Cymerman. Palestinian folklore group Sabrin will perform along with Broza at the ceremony, which is being sponsored by Spain's Three Cultures Foundation and the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion.
