The genesis of all festivals

I've never actually been to festivals such as Beresheet. My friends and I were more of the type to read comic books and play Sega than to sleep-out on the beach, walk around barefoot and casually make out in a tent. Recently, it occurred to me that in my older age (which is now), perhaps I should check this scene out. Now, I suspect, I've got enough confidence to sit alone in my tent while munching a bag of Doritos, in addition to potentially enjoying the shows and holistic venues. My pending attendance could also be because this year's festival promises to be bigger than ever. The holistic village will consist of tantric workshops, yoga, meditation and more. For the music lover in you, there will be two stages. Avraham Tal, Hemi Rudner, Izabo, Hope 6 and many more will perform. Hoping to move away from the reputation that Beresheet is for young teens, the festival's producers are making a concerted effort to make space for everyone and anyone who'd like to join the celebration. Hence, there is even a quiet camping area for families, with activities for the children. Other arenas include the Extreme Park (with over 100 activities such as skateboarding, a mud pool and volleyball), Hyde Park (where anyone can get on stage and speak their mind), nude body painting, juggling acts, street theater, circus acts and much, much more all set for the paths of the festival's grounds. Additionally, a central, main bonfire will mark the festival's center where all ceremonies are set to take place. This year's festival focuses on ecology with education and prizes for recycling available. Taking place at Golan Beach, Kinneret from October 16 to 18, tickets cost NIS 185.
