Award-winning Israeli film The Bubble is having its American premiere on September 7th at theaters in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco. The film by Eytan Fox and Gal Uchovsky has won eight audience awards at film festivals throughout Europe including the Berlin Film Festival. It is the story of a group of straight and gay friends in liberal Tel Aviv whose lives become complicated when one of them gets romantically involved with a young Palestinian. The movie was hugely popular in Israel since its release in July 2006. Fox previously directed the successful and critically acclaimed films Walk On Water and Yossi and Jagger.
